    In a quick google, looks like a 4.4 isn't unusual for a Geforce 9200. A Guy

I couldn't tell you how much you could find one for in the UK, but a GeForce 210 to a 450, or a radeon 5550 to a 5770 runs under 140 USD

AMD Phenom II X6 1090T @3853MHz. Still trying to find a good tweak for my motherboard, shooting for 4 or 4.1GHz tho.

Have not mess with my RAM yet.

HDD (6.2) is my choke point as I am still using 2 WD Caviar Black 1TB RAID 0 with short stroking (150GB) to get to 6.2 or stuck at 5.9.

You'll be hard pressed to go above a low 7 with a platter drive. Good, solid scores though!

Yep, I had to cheat LoL to get to 6.2 by short stroking my Caviar in RAID 0. I think WEI would not get out of5.9 if the Access Time is above 10ms. Short Stroking dropped it down to 7.5ms.... WEI is so cheap and only give me 6.2 LoL

Oh, trust me. I was at Microcenter today walking around the SSD show case about 200 laps. The large size is way too much per GB. Perhaps in a few months.

We just got back from vacation and I have about 90GB worth of AVCHD files from my camcorder and about 20GB worth of photos to go through. Spinning drives RAID 0 still give me performance I need (for now)

I need a single large SSD (who won't) since I can't RAID them as AMD on-board controller could not support TRIM (yet).

Still looking for an option, I may just get 128MB SSD for OS and get me a real RAID Controller Card and RAID my spinning drives.

Depending on your software load, you can get by with a much smaller SSD.

I've got a 40GB SSD with 19GB used. Just keep all of your data, pics, vids, files and folders on the spinners.
    No problem, works great.
I have been doing this, at least in a different partition, with my HDDs for about 15 years. Can't figure out why everybody doesn't do this, makes re-imaging or re-installing the OS very easy.

No need to buy a big SSD for data storage, not yet anyway. When the prices really drop, say 500GB for $100 then maybe.

You can get a very nice 40-50GB SSD for $100 or less.
