ordered with 2GB RAM, because the 96GB configuration is a $30,000 option.
Especially since a 48GB kit of ram is available for the paltry sum of $3500.
Unless you are using server memory, then the entire amount is available for just under $3000. "memory upgrades" are the most useless thing. Especially since it is not even very high quality memory.
12x8GB ddr3 1066 all in triple channel mode for just over $2800.. and it works just fine. The HP branded memory is about $800 per DIMM, which makes for a profit of about $2,300 for each DIMM they install at the factory and about $500 for each DIMM ordered separately from HP. They also double the price for the CPUs they install, but I guess it was worthwhile considering I didn't even know where to start as far as case/MOBO/PSU for a dual socket system goes.. been working mostly on laptops for too long
That's a good thing because RAM for RAM the 2010 Dodge RAM 1500 is a whole lot cheaper!

Nah, I don't own it. If I did buy one though, it would be the 2 door sport model in blue pearl with a few nice options :)
