Getting a 7.0/7.3/7.2/7.2/5.9. Damn HDD. Why's my CPU score that low?
5.9 is the most you can get out of a spinner...to get a higher score you need an ssd.

EDIT: Sorry misread your post, I dont know to much about how it scores the cpu...

Laptops are setup to use less power, voltage, at the cost of some performance.
This affects CPUs and RAM the most, and since there are usually no adjustable settings in OEM BIOS there is not a lot you can do about it.

I'm sure your laptop is quite fast, and enjoyable to use, so don't worry about the WEI.

I'd imagine that overheating would also be an issue if you tried to squeeze too much extra out of a laptop, right? Thee's certainly enough of those cooling pads out there for sale.

WoW! At 15.20Ghz your CPU cooler must drink liquid nitrogen.
    Yes, it's a nitroholic - no wonder it's confused.

Oh No lol!! Has anyone ever seen a pc do that btw?
    Might be a 1st!!!

Its a laptop. PCs can handle more and 7.0 is still a high score for a laptop.

Installed an Intel 120GB SSD today. Don't know why the CPU and RAM scores both dropped from 7.5. SSD selfishly siphoned some points away.

What's the purpose of having 12GB RAM? Just curious.

    It is better than 6GB
Seriously, the more RAM, the less the system goes to the page (swap) file to use it as RAM. The Page file is on the Hard drive and much slower that memory. This MAY not be true with SSD's, I don't know, I still have a 7200RPM spinnerator.

I've only gone over 50% in my RAM gadget with my 4GB RAM once, I think.....lol. I can't imagine what would use up 6GB to drive you into the pagefile! :)

His score is 7.4 for his RAM. I'm at 7.2 with half his RAM, unless that's DDR2 or old school DDR. But form my knowledge, DDR2 and DDR3 are very similar, except DDR3 uses a little less power.
