I think I would work on the graphics though.
I'm just playing with VirtualBox, I thought the score was kind of funny.

Win 7 starter in a VM, Decent HDD score.
I don't think that you can get a Virtual Machines score to increase. I could be wrong but they just use the most basic of hardware drivers. (XP VM for instance does not have Direct 3D or access to a DVD/CD Burner).
Just to ask where did you get a Windows 7 Starter Virtual Machine? I looked around and couldn't see it anywhere, (Was looking for a better Sandbox than my XP VM).
I'm using VirtualBox and I made one of these,

Windows 7 Universal Installation Disc - Create

creating a 2 OS thumb drive
Very clever that, I did have a look and tried with UIbuntu and Linux, but then my brain started to hurt and had to have a lie down.

The disc was pretty easy, following these instructions,

creating a 2 OS thumb drive

I can't seem to get the grapics score any higher on that starter... no big deal though.

The HDD score is now 6.2 in the VM though but only 5.9 on the host.

RealGoneKid, if you want to do that with linux distros, download pendrive linux (AKA Ultimate Boot CD). it will do that for you.

    Hi There,

This is mine; I could be right at the top if I replaced my Hard Drives which are currently good for 300 MBs Data transfer rate . My Mobo will support this and all I need to do is swap them out. But "What The Hey" I am not a gamer so It is not that important to me at this time.

It would probably be my next logical upgrade!

Of Course I could also increase my DDR3 PC15000 RAM from 12 Gigs to 25 Gigs! YIKES

It looks good. But, wou will never get above 5.9 with a mechanical HD. You will have to get an SSD to get above what you have. Take my word for it, don't waste your money buying a sata 6GB/s mechanical hard drive.
