@dhyme...that's a great drive you got. How much did it cost you?
    OCZ Z-Drive 500GB. P88 i think?
I lucked out on it and paid $300. It was donated as junk to a thrift store. An associate of mine volunteers there and gets first pick of the electronics. He let me test it and sold it to me. So far no problems at all with the Z-drive. They cost around $2K new. I'm extremely happy with it. Windows 7-64 boots in under 10 seconds.

I just upgraded to SSD and it screams. I am waiting to get my GTX 470 soon as soon as the cash comes in.
Looks like your having some RAM issues.

Almost any 2GB RAM should have a better score than that.

Update your specs or post the specs for this computer, maybe someone can give you some suggestions to increase performance of the RAM.

Run the assessment from this thread, instructions are on the first page, post results there.
    What's your memory assessment speed?

D/L and post Memory and SPD tabs from CPU-Z

    Which SSD did you get?

Looks like a really nice system, except for that RAM

Here are my cpuz and winsat screen values

I have Corsair XMS3 DDR3 RAM. The model from this link: Newegg.com - CORSAIR XMS3 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model TW3X2G1333C9A G . I thought the scores for 2GB of RAM is normal. I thought you have to have at least 4GB of RAM to get in the 7s for RAM.

As for the SSD, I have the Intel X25-V G2.

    @cbaile6692,

Your Memory Assessment looks good, and the CPUZ is showing the RAM is running at recommended specs.

2GB RAM will affect the WEI RAM score. It likes more RAM and will give a better score.

If everything is running good for you then there is no reason to change anything. Enjoy your fast computer.

Nice SSD, same as mine, and runs great

With all my software installed i'm using 13.3GB, no crowding.

Best hardware upgrade I've ever done.

How do you guys get good scores with the HD? I had a 320g that was built in and it ranked it 5.9. I bought a new 750g HD same score, I know its not the HD size it ranks. I'm a gamer and is the 5.9 on the HD score holding me back? I have simialar scores to you guys on the others....

You need a SSD (solid state drive) to get anything higher than 5.9, There's probably a way to bump up a HDD but not by much.
