When I installed Win7 (custom install over Vista) I didn't bother to run the WEI cause there was already a number there, the same as in Vista. Just for shits n giggles I updated my WEI and it stayed the same.......I really gotta upgrade my memory.....4gb coming soon!

    Thanks A Guy and Dave

I think the question should be more like "what didn't I upgrade" lol

Last thing I upgraded a couple of days ago was the hard drive and now have windows 7 on a SSD

Really happy with the system all round now , it runs very nice.

    Cheers

    Paul.

Gotta give props to my uncle....this was his Vista Ultimate machine for a while, and when he upgraded to a hyperthreading, OC'd i7 machine, he set this one up with Win 7 Ultimate for me, and I love it. A nice upgrade from my old 1.63GHz single-core XP SP3 machine that had 512MB of RAM.

Looks good, SSDs are great upgrades.

Would like to see what that Corsair F60 gets on the AS SSD benchmark.

If you have it can you post it on the Show us your SSD performance thread?

Their F40 is suppose to get the same speed, which will make it the fastest in that size range.

Hi Dave , I ran tests on both HD tune and AS when I first got it the other day.

The results on AS were very dissapointing , I am not sure what to make of them.

Will post it up in the other thread and perhaps discuss it there.

    Cheers

    Paul.
