Just being incredibly slow...

Just recently I downloaded a game, Battle of the Immortals to be exact, and it was a .exe file. I go into my downloads folder and double click it to start the installer and I get the spinning blue circle that means it's loading right? Yeah well.. it just sits there FOREVER. I just double clicked it in the morning before school and when I came back nothing was on my screen. And now, as I am posting this, my computer is acting very slow. My computer is custom built and I've had it for about 4 months now and I haven't had any kind of problems with this thing being slow. Any suggestions?

Here's my speccy:

Windows 10 Pro x64

i wonder if it is still trying to run, go into task manager (CTRL SHIFT ESC) and check under processes>show processes for all users for something that looks like it could be the installer, if there is then end the process,

Yes it was trying to still run, so I ended it but it still acts relatively slow. I just don't understand why it just loads forever and nothing ever comes up. If I keep clicking while it's loading, the screen goes white and says that windows explorer has stopped working and this is the problem report:

HDD is incredibly slow after reinstalling Windows on SSD
I had to reinstall Windows 7 Home Premium x64 on my SSD, because it didn't boot properly. I decided to make a clean install. When I chose to install Windows onto the SSD, it told me it couldn't install to the specified location. When I plugged out my HDD, it worked. When the Windows installation...

Why is my VPN connection so incredibly slow?
I have a VPN connection on my home Win7 Pro 64-bit machine to access files on the server at my office. I connect using Win7's built-in VPN protocol, using my office's static IP address. After the VPN connection is active, I can go to \\server\share and access our files, just as if I were sitting...

Host access now incredibly slow
If I access a shared file on the host through the network the access times are awful. The network performance is crawling along. It takes hours to copy large files. However when accessing other machines on the network the access times are lightning as I'd expect. This slow network performance makes...
