What is the best way to turn off my laptop ? Should I choose sleep if I will be using it again later or just turn it off after every use?

it depends, sleep uses battery so if thats an issue then choose shutdown,
likewise if you are going to be travelling with it, always shut down, as that will lock the Hard Drive and prevent accidental damage (unless you drop it of course)
If its plugged in or not going anywhere then by all means choose sleep, as it will mean it will come back to life quicker
