Yea the Ram is at 25 % idle....when running photoshop it jumps to 35%!!!!!!! then slowly increases as i work on my designs up to 44%...
Call me thick, but I don't see a problem. The ram is there to be used, and at 44% it is still far from being all used.

Koogen, I think you are concerned over nothing. Trust Windows to use and manage the RAM well and efficiently. It does a very fine job of it. You appear to be in good shape.

So just wanted to check something.
I was doing a very long flight on FSX (15hrs).
Max ram usage was only 5.6gb but just before decent I thought I'd just check the performance tab of the task manager and I had the below figures:
Total physical memory 16GB
Cached = 10gb
I've just started having a problem where my computer becomes periodically unusable for chunks of time, like 30-60 minutes.
Everything is going along well and then it slows down to a crawl.
In the task manager, under performance, I see a crazy amount of activity, sometimes pegged at 100%,...
