I am little curious on readyboost functionality.
Readyboost functions work fine. its cache around 3-4 GB data after an hour work. But only thing I have observe when I restart my Windows 7. The readyboot Cache Data build again from the beginning. Is it normal?

That's the trade off with readyboost.. a few minutes of heavy disk load at startup while the pagefile is copied to a flash drive. The benefits are minimal or nonexistent if you already have enough memory, however. A 64 bit system with 4 GB RAM doesn't seem to run any faster with 4GB Readyboost, and on a system with 8GB RAM it seems to actually slow down a little
yes , on every boot readyboost deletes the readyboot folder , then (when idle) it analyzes the last 5 boots works out what files were accessed and where they are on the drive and makes a plan (cache) for the next boot (again done by the ready boost service and stored in the ready boot folder)

To my knowledge, ReadyBoost was developed for the use of people with low amounts of Ram to upgrade to Vista and be able to function better. I have not seen a single instance of Readyboost helping anyone that has a minimum of 4G of ram. It will help if you have 2G or less. But depending on the CPU, even 2G is pretty good for 7 and doesn't really need Readyboost. Your mileage may very, but essentially, If you have 3G or more of Ram, ReadyBoost isn't going to do much for you in terms of performance.

I have 2 loptops
1 Toshiba Satellite running win 7 home (work Computer) 4 Gig om RAM
1 Acer-one running Win 7 Pro (my personal) 1 Gig of RAM
Ready Boost works on the Win 7 Home version
Ready Boost does not work on the Win Pro Version (the one I need it to work in)
Used the same USB Drive in either Unit
The message I get is "This device does not support the Ready Boost function" or something to that effect, yet it does in the other Laptop.
Is this an Acer problem?
Did you re-format/clean the USB stick, or just pull it from one machine (the work PC) and plug it straight into your home PC?
It needs to cleaned/formatted to work with your home PC if it's already been setup to run on the other machine.

Win 7 Home Version is 64 bit (the machine Ready Boost is working in)
Win 7 Pro Version is 32 bit (the Machine Ready Boost is not working in)
I tried the 32 bit version machine first (which did not work), which lead me to atempt it in the 64 bit machine (which did work).
