    Hieeeeeee everyone
Can someone please please please help me!!!
I just installed Windows 7 Ultimate (So late I know) and whenever I start my computer i get the Performance Option thingy popping up on me.
It's really annoying and i have googled and followed some advice offered by some kind guys out there on all these other forums that i have visited and nothing seems to be working for me (I know i am dumb in computer stuff)
Also whenever i try to open up on Photoshop CS5, it keeps saying that system's memory's too low and keep on advicing me to close the application
n I have opened my big mouth and told my friend that i will help her to design her baby's 1st birthday card on Photoshop so i can't back out on mah promise, and the baby's turning one really soon, thus i would like to get my computer memory issue sorted out ASAP!!!!
Some kind people out here PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
Please post some screen shots as to how to fix this error pleaseeeeeeeee!

Screenie of mah error is below:

My performance option looks similar to yours.
When you hit change what does it look like?

    here is mine
    Attachment 82280
If desperate in making BD card you can allows download a free program called GMP or paint.net
    or buy one. IMHO

    Meowlie, welcome to the forums.

Have you seen or tried the fix mentioned here,

Windows 7 set to no page file and I cannot change it

    Found that link here,

    Performance Options on every startup?

where it seems to have worked for the last 2 posters.

    @ THW :)

Whenever I make any changes, it just goes back to looking like on the screenie. And the same screen pops up whenever i start my computer again

BTW: I know that we can just buy the invitation and stuff, it's a special first birthday, so we would rather have a personalised invi as opposed to a pre made one. And i am already half way thru making one in CS5. But I can't finish it due to this low memory thingy.

    @ Stormie :)

    Oh thank you very much

Yup, I tried both of them and it didn't work.

The first link you gave me seems to be floating around in all forums and i did try it couple of times but I don't know as to if i am doing it right tho?

You know when they say " you need to launch command prompt in Administrative mode and run the command: sc config afs start= disabled "

    Is this what i do?

Buying was just an option in case you couldn't get a fix for your system.
I am like you, I like to create these kind of things myself. It is more personable.

Something isn't right there. Let's start with doing a system file check,,

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

and see what if anything it finds first.

since its saying your memory is too low, how much Ram do you have?

Also, you might have programs running at startup that aren't needed. some might be in the taskbar next to clock if you can close out all of them that you are not currently using.

you can also check in the Startup folder to see if there are any programs listed there. thats under start menu> all Programs > Startup

Another issue with CS5 is the scratch disc. This requires a chunk of hard-disk space. can you post a screenshot of the error you get in photoshop?
