Can I wake from hibernate directly onto desktop?

I was just wondering if when I wake from hibernate and after the resuming windows screen, Is there a way to skip the log in as what user screen and effectivly boot directly to desktop after pressing power button after hibernating? For some reason my PC crashes when ever I try using sleep/sleep-hybrid, so I'm stuck with just using hibernate.

going to control panel > then power options > choose advance power options
then disable the password at resume option

I would think you would want to resolve the sleep issue first

I went to advanced power settings and at the very top is "ballanced" tick submenu is - Require a password on wakeup. Is this what you mean? Mine is stuck at yes and won't change to no. My problem isn't having to enter a password by the way. It's just an anoying extra step when waking from hibernate having to select my user.

Since it's a desktop PC and a rather old one at that -I'm fine with being stuck with only hibernate and forgoing sleep option.

Like I said- mine is stuck at yes and won't go to no. Any thoughts? Thanks!

edit: I clicked on show settings that are currently unavailable and I was able to select no. I'll see if it works.
