Disk repair would be the option you want, but I don't see how it differs from a chkdsk /r command. Chkdsk /r does the exact same thing and much more....

amdkmpfd.sys is a chipset driver, you don't want to alter it.
What you can do is in the recovery environment, reinstall the driver by downloading the files from another pc and attempt safe mode...
