Laptop ran stable for a few days then crashed...

Laptop ran stable for a few days then crashed again when sitting idle.

I'll test again with memtest. I ran it when i updated the graphics driver for 9 passes which took about 37 hours and got no errors, I'll run it again for more than 9...

Also ran memtest for 9 passes with zero errors.

I've done a fresh install of windows. It ran fine for 2 days then BSOD. All drivers were installed on day 1, only some SSD tweeks were made on day 2. nothing else has been installed except firefox.

scratch that. just had another damn BSOD. (INTERRUPT_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED ntoskrnl.exe+75bc0) I can see my foot going through this laptop.

Would reinstalling windows be a viable option?

i haven't had a chance to run the laptop properly...

i haven't had a chance to run the laptop properly yet but it did go a few hours the other day without crashing. ill run it over the next few days. early signs are looking good.

thanks again for the reply arc, regarding intel extreme tuning utility. everything is on default except Intel Turbo Boost which i disabled. would it be best to leave this disabled or put it back on...

I've uninstalled all nvidia drivers, cleaned using the DDU tool and installed 334.89 driver. i'll see how it goes.

also noticed my processor has been running at 3.69GHz so ive disabled intel turbo...
