Mpfitler.sys belongs to MSE. After uninstalling...

Mpfitler.sys belongs to MSE. After uninstalling MSE the perpetual BSOD stopped. After reinstalling it returned. I now use AVG and no BSODs. The proof is in the puding.

Since restarting Base Filtering Engine service...

Since restarting Base Filtering Engine service (Windows firewall & IPSEC) clears the problem temporarily, I suspect it's a problem with the NIC driver and Windows firewall.
