No, not at all. I was comparing a fresh install of Vista to that of 7. Vista = very long bootup. 7 = incredibly fast bootup.

Hmm... ok. What's weirder was that it did show me as signed in previously. It said "Welcome, (me)" at the top of the TechNet site, as well as the live.com site. Oh well. Live and learn and reboot...

I'd certainly prefer if there were a built-in feature for this as well, but UltraMon works fairly well as a 3rd party fix.
