Domain functional level is set to Windows Server...

Domain functional level is set to Windows Server 2008. The OS is Windows 7 Pro 64 bit although I'm having the same error when using another server with Windows Server 2008 as the clent computer.

I renamed the domain to a .local name and created a zone and A record pointing to this. Still have the same error. Can yous think of anything else? Maybe I'm not setting the Active Directory properly.

The Primary DNS is 192.168.0.3 although I removed the public DNS. The DNS Forwarders have been set using the Server's DNS Management. Changed the client PC to DHCP but it's still not working.

Error when joining domain

I'm trying to join a domain on Windows 7 and I receive the below error message. I'm testing with 2 computers on the network. The other computer is a server with Windows Server 2008 and DNS installed....
