I agree, and there is a time during the boot process when both screens are black, apart from an active mouse pointer, which lasts for about 47 seconds.

Slow boot. Several .sys files take long time to load.

files in the C: drive - removable?

In the root of the C: drive there are numerous files with names like
{0B6AF6FF-46CD-4E3F-BA2B-928D071D3561}
Nearly all are 3KB, so they don't take up much space, but they clutter up the directory....
