I'll come back in the thread if I have another occurrence - but my bluescreens were previously happening hourly at least - on a clean Win7 install. And I have been using my rig much more intensively...

So far, I am having better luck after clearing out the catalyst 12.2 with driver cleaner, then only installing the driver after unpacking the catalyst software and updating through device manager....
