Windows 7 Admin Permission problems, cannot install

Just did a new clean install of W7 Home Premium 64-bit with SP1. Installed all MS updates.
Went to install a virus program and both that I tried (Avira and MS Security Essentials) fail to install....

I should add that the same problem occurs with 3 different wifi adapters, so it's not the adapter's fault.

Still hoping someone has an idea.
