I have 8 different computers set to startup with TeamViewer running. Each has a different 9 digit ID, but I set them all up with the same personal password, so I don't have to remember a different one for each computer. So it's just like logging into your own user account on each remote computer.

Team Viewer

I use Team Viewer and I am very pleased with it. I can do anything I want with it. Also if the person does not want to download team viewer on there computer you can do a online session also. So it uses less space and works the same way. The only thing is that you can only connect for an hour at a time. Unless you pay for it. I do not know about the other programs. But I was told Net Meeting by someone at Microsoft. But I looked it up and it is no longer a updated program. Also it did not say anything about Remote desktop I could not get The remote desktop that came with my windows 7 to work either. I had home premium. I found that you can not do it with home premium. SO I upgraded to ultimate. But I found that the other person has to have a better one than home premium to. LOL. I think they should fix that for sure. I think that if you pay that much for the best OS. You should be able to do what you want on it. Not have to rely on other programs. when the program is already on your computer . It is just useless. Microsoft needs to fix this problem I think. But I hoped my vote for team viewer has helped.

Using Remote Desktop instead of Remote Assistance for remote helpdesk?
Hi I know there are other products out there, like vnc, ultravnc, teamviewer etc etc, but really nothing beats the sheer speed of remote desktop, it's like sitting in front of the actual computer. I also know about Remote Assistance built into Windows 7. I would like to use remote desktop...
