Jacee hi .....Will my router be a problem getting this to install?
So far everytime I try to install this , it starts really well then when it's almost installed..
it stops dead.. won't complete to the end.. I have to reboot to get out of the screen.
I have my mouse in a USB... nothing else in a USB

You can disconnect from the Net ... this is the 'offline' installer, just double click it to install.

Jacee I clicked to install .. I keep getting a message this is on my pc. "Do You want to install it again".. when I click YES.. then I get another message saying " This is only good for it already on the machine ".. so it seems I don't have it already on my pc.
Would you like me to get screenshots for you to see and read?

You should have it installed if you get this message "Do You want to install it again"

Jacee then where is it located.. in the Search I did and the long list of Java items showed up Screen Shot
    I posted earlier?
Should we delete any of that stuff.. I was wondering if I should clear all of that out..
    Or leave it alone.
Do I have what I need now that I've run the uninstaller to remove JAVA.. I think it was in an earlier post of yours ?
Would a hijackthis log be of any help now ?
A long time ago I recall having a program that showed everything I have on my pc..
showing what needed to be updated.I wish I could recall the program but right now
I'm drawing a blank on this.

Are you thinking Secunia PSI? It's free and tells you if you have outdated/vulnerable software on your computer. PSI - Consumer - Products

Download it and run the scan.

Hello LPT, I didn't realize you had posted yesterday Yes, as Jacee said, that sounds like PSI. If it confirms no Java on your system, you may want to try and delete everything Java related, and start clean. You can also try the Windows Installer Cleanup, and see if it will find anything Java if nothing else will.

Download Windows Installer CleanUp Utility 2.5.0.1 Free - Remove Windows Installer configuration information on failed installs - Softpedia

Also, the Capt's removal link, with the weird icons, look like they denote the next word is a link. Looks like just skip the icons, and the rest of the info is showing on either side of them. Just remove the icons, and treat what comes after as the rest, even the highlighted words. Let us know how you are getting on in this. A Guy

I thought I fixed all 3 things.. however I see now Chrome isn't fixed..
I don't plan to use it anyway..I'll probably uninstall it.
I don't see anything about Java on here.

When you run PSI, click on advanced in upper right corner and accept you want to change it. Now click on the Patched tab on top. Scroll down to the S's, see if you have entries for Sun Java (see my screenshots)
