A Guy hi.. I've tried to use the UpDate button in the Java icon in my task bar.. It refused..
    as did FileHippo..
I looked around in the Java Control Panel.. it won't allow updated for 7 days as it is set by Java now, or one Month.
Shouldn't we just wait for it to do the auto Update now ?

YES I'm smiling very Big tonite also...You have no idea how greatful I am tonite to YOU my friend !!!!
    Thanks a million
    Enjoy your weekend.
    hugs

I wouldn't worry about it, but yes, you can wait for the auto update. As I say, your version IS secure, just not the latest. You have a great weekend too my friend

I would run JavaRa, which you have now, and let it delete the older update 2 version. If you run Secunia PSI, it will alert you to that as being insecure. Otherwise, you are good to go :)

Carl hello.. thanks bunches.. I'm a very happy camper today with what happened last night ..
I know I've driven this thread into fits trying my best to get the Java I really needed to have everything secure.. however it's taken so much time... I'm just not willing to stop when I know I'm surely not the only one who has run into this problem with Java.. it's a pain at times to deal with Java.. I don't quite understand why Java being the developer , they miss some much needed .. links/or steps to clear out their old versions if that's what is required , to then download the newer version.
I surely hope if I run JavaRa it won't mess up my Java 6.20 I finally did get last night .

Wishing my friend a great weekend. thanks for always being there.. for me.
    hugs
