some good video burning software?
I need a software that can burn video easily to DVD while maintaining its original aspect ratio. For me Windows DVD Makers burns 16:9 videos with borders around the screen and nero 10 is confusing.

There is an option in windows DVD maker to change the aspect ratio.
Besides Nero, Roxio and ashampoo are good burning software.
Imgburn is a good free alternative but it's too basic.
When i burn an widescreen video with DVD Maker with 16:9 option, there's black borders around the video while viewing when watching from a 4:3 tv. Also when I try to view it again on my 16:9 computer monitor, the video becomes 4:3. I just want a normal 16:9 video (with black borders on top and bottom only. like movies on DVDs.)
What type of files are the video input? For avi or mkv input the free DVD Flick works pretty well. Just set it to output a VIDEO_TS folder then burn that folder with Imgburn.
If you want to do a lot of filtering of the video while encoding check out AviSynth. Many Gui front end converters use it. You can do stuff like AutoCrop, resize, get rid of jaggies, hard code subtitles etc.. just google it for the main site.
Quick Question, What exactly is the resolution of the source video your trying to burn?
This is from Nero 9 but it be similar in 10.
If the Source is 16X9, set it the same as shown here and see if that helps.
DVD Flick requires me to change my computer username because it contains "non supported characters". I changed it to a number but when I go brown in DVD Flick, the change didn't happen. guess i have to make a new user acc and delete my current one.
