64-bit OS, 32-bit Firefox, which Java do i need?

Hi forum, the title says it all...

I've installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, since there isn't an official 64-bit Firefox (or i can't find it) i've installed the 32-bit version (the one on the official website)

Now i have a question... which Java should i install? the 32-bit one (because of the browser) or the 64-bit one? (because of the OS)

And the Adobe Flash Player/Shockwave Player? which ones? 32-bit or 64-bit?

Thanks in advance, forum.

The 32 bit java is all you need for the 32 bit firefox browser. You can install both 32 and 64 bit ones separately, and they will both be in Programs and Features, but it isn't necessary unless you're going to use a 64 bit browser.

Adobe flash is only in 32 bit for Windows. The only 64 bit flash is an experimental one for Linux.

There is a 64 bit Firefox browser, but without Flash, it's hardly worth using it.

Here it is straight from the horses' mouth: Which version of Java should I download for my Windows 64-bit operating system?

If you're going to be using a 64 bit browser often, along with the 32 bit one then download and install both. Otherwise, if only using a 32 bit browser for the most part, only the 32 bit one is needed.
