To turn off sticky keys, press both the left and right shift keys simultaneously. Alternatively

    • Click StartControl PanelEase of AccessChange how your keyboard works.
    • Locate the “Make it easier to type” heading.
    • Remove the check mark from the box next to “Turn on Sticky Keys”.

However, "Sticky Keys" does not sound like what you're describing. Try looking in the control panel at you mouse/touch-pad (if using a laptop) for something called "Auto Select" or maybe "ClickLock" and un-check them.

    Hi ozmo,

Is this a USB mouse, a PS/2 mouse or a serial mouse? Usually, the problem resides in a faulty PS/2 port, but if you're using a USB mouse, then we'll have to look at something else.

    Thanks,
