    SpeedFan.............

Anyone on here actually use it? If so...got any step by step methods for me. Want to know how to exactly control the fan in my laptop so it stays cool. I havent really planned with it yet. But just decided to ask on here.

SpeedFan will pick up some sensors and not others. Before you get too into planning, run it and follow the readme. See if it can pick up your temps and voltages. Also some machines have settings in the BIOS. The manufacturer doesn't always document these in the owner's manual. Guess it's for techs to know during setup or something. You may have to ask on a PC brand specific forum.

Or you could go the hw route as thw suggested.

Yea just got it thanks. BUT....i think this TELLS you the temp right? So if the fans are too hot...it wont cool it for u right? I think thats where SpeedFan comes in. Just may have to messed with that to. But i do like Speecy to. Thanks Howling.

    Your welcome DJ.
I also use Ccleaner and Recuva from Piriform.
Speecy will tell you the temps and I quick glance that daily.
I don't mess with the speed fan at all. IMO
Have a great evening and keep those records in a safe place.:)
