As an aside, it also does registry cleaning. BUT, please refrain from that if possible.

rich...Ccleaner can disable startup programs (Tools-->Startup)
I can't answer the OP as I only have one account but I would think that it would only disable from the account you are logged in as (???)
@Lemur...I have used the registry cleaner for years without incident so your advice is not well founded. Many others have also had no problems with it also.

Hello and Welcome !

I believe it will only disable for the current user not all users.

Hope this helps,
Captain

Hi illway1,

It's to my knowledge that the CCleaner application will only disable objects located in the HKCU (Current User hive). I hope that answers your question. Best of luck.

Thanks,

Agreed, his advice is not very well founded. He has have not used a registry cleaner on Win 7 for years. Win 7 does not need a registry cleaner. It maintains the registry very efficiently. here is some reading for you.

Are registry cleaners necessary?

Back up the registry

Why I don’t use registry cleaners

Startup programs not opening during startup
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I have CPU-Z, Hardware Monitor Pro and Resource Monitor shortcuts in the startup folder. If I go to MSCONFIG I can see that the items are there to be started during startup. What am I doing wrong that will not allow these programs to start up?
