.NET 3.5 is already included in Windows7, Any application using v2.0 should work fine.

Latest .NET is v4.0: Download details: Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer)

.NET Framework is a Feature and included with Win 7.
Go to "Control Panel/Programs And Features" and on the left side Click on "Turn Windows features on or off" and look for Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5.1. .Net 2.0, 3.0 and 3.5.1 are all included.
If the square is shaded it is installed. The two sub lines are not needed.

I received this MS update for .NET Framework 4 shortly after I installed Win 7. BTW according to Comodo Defense+ the program was very busy modifying files for quite a long time after the update was instaled.

Ok, sunk a couple hours into what the problem is, unfortunately I cannot work out how to fix it short of reinstalling my operating system (If I take it off, I refuse to put it back on, to many headaches already). Basically I needed to update to .net framework 4, and my system lied and said it...
