Windy, Windows 7 by 7

I know everyone is buzzing over Windows 7. I am in a way too seeing as how I am a Microsoft fan even if their products always work as it should. I was able to download the new Windows Live set of stuff and it is great. The update made me feel as if I don't even need Windows 7 but deep down I know I want it. The thing that bugs me the most about Windows Seven is the different taskbar. It is too square, no dimension. I also hope too that there won't be a million different versions of Windows 7 and all this security stuff. It is a turn off because people like me who always actually buy the software. I don't want to confirm whatever item every six seconds. I just want to install my Windows 7, enter serial key, run it and use it for life...at least, until another Windows comes out. If MS is listening, just make a good OS and don't have users on a wild goose-chase.

Well UAC is a lot more configurable in Windows7 and of course you can still turn it off, so there is no issue there no matter which way you go. I have UAC on its lowest level and it is GREAT, I probably run into it maybe one or two times a week and only when I am changing stuff that it belongs asking me for.

As far as so many versions, who cares just get Ultimate. What does it matter if they sell other crappy versions with stuff ripped out? As far as I am concerned those versions don't really exist.

And as far as the taskbar goes, I think once you use it you will realize the squareness of it is nice, you actually feel like it is more streamlined, less wasted space and pixels!
