Manually defragment possible?

Is there any sort of program that can let me take a bunch of files on a drive and move them to wherever i like? like how a defragment program works, except i chose where to put the files, and the program defrags the files and places the pieces where I chose

Hello bxsciencer,

There's no such thing as 'manual defragmentation'. Even if you move fragmented files manually from one hard drive to another, your PC still won't become defragmented. I highly recommend you use Windows' Disk Defragmenter or similar programs.

Defraggler can let you defrag individual files. I have not used this program.

You could reregister with a new name. Or, perhaps Brink could change it for you. Don't know how else it could be done.

Bronx has 7 Nobel Prize winners, two of which were in my dad's class.

Do not create multiple accounts just to change your user name... just send a PM to one of the admins with the new user name that you want...

Should I defragment my (18% fragmented) SSD?
Disk Defragmenter is reporting my 60GB SSD is 18% fragmented. I have never defragmented the SSD as the general consensus seems to be that it's unnecessary on SSDs and if anything, it shortens the life of them. Should I defragment it?

Don't know where else to post this, so if this is not the correct section, please move. I was wondering, whats the best software(Free preferably), that I can use to defrag my drives? Really though, there is so much out there, I can't choose anymore.
