FAVC Has a native 64 bit version. It esp. rocks if you have a quad core machine!

    Some more:

EmEditor - EmEditor text editor - Unicode text editor for Windows

    All native 64-bit applications.
    both added, thanks.
    NOOOO!

This is supposed to be "free" software, right?

EmEditor is commercial...you can download a trial.

I have a problem with Nitro PDF Reader. Even though I install the 64-bit version, the program installs to the Program Files (x86) folder and shows up in the task manager as a *32 program. What's going on?

Do you have a previous 32-bit version of the program installed? If so, uninstall that, then reinstall new version.

I have the same problem with Nitro PDF reader beta x64. Running it on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and installing using the 64-bit installer that is provided on the Nitro PDF Reader web site. Always installs into the Program Files (x86) directory and runs as 32-bit program. Would love it to run native 64-bit. Tried uninstalling, rebooting, cleaning, and installing. Same result every time.

Try out PDF XChange Viewer. Works OK for me in native x64.

I used to use that, but I wanted to try out Nitro PDF Reader. PDF-XChange Viewer has some problems printing for some reason (the edges are cut off) and Nitro PDF Reader has the ribbon interface, which I really like and want to try out.
