    Tortoise SVN:

    tortoisesvn.tigris.org

Available in both 32- and 64-bit editions. I like it because it integrates well with Explorer.

    Added, thanks.

Nice explanation. I'm guessing not everyone has the ability and/or desire to type an answer like yours, so I appreciate that very much!

None of the information you provided was in the FAQ or the developer's website.

    Hi,
Does anyone know of a clipboard manager program that works with Windows 7 64-bit?
I have a tendency to cut/copy text (with the intention of pasting it somewhere later), but then I forget to paste it. So, I need a program that will enable me to see the last few things that I cut/copied, so that I can copy them again and paste them if I need to.

A 32-bit one would work just as well in a 64-bit os.

If you are just doing text clips there would be dozens of freebies that work. You could try this list:

    Best Free Clipboard Replacement Utility

Also Softpedia is a good site for freeware.

Also on that TechSupportAlert there's a forum with a section
"I want a free program that..." for utilities that slip between the categories or may be hard to find.

Also DonationCoder.com has a "coding snacks" section to the forum where you can request small custom utilities be written for you.

You wouldn't need those forums in your case of the clipboard manager but they're good to bookmark for stuff hard to find.

I "Dig" the music of Miles Davis and the post for good information.

Well darn. I was interested in trying out "Ditto", the clipboard replacement utility, but it crashes. It may not want to play nice with TeraCopy Pro and Directory Opus. I saved the crash info, but sometimes I can't decipher it.

    Problem signature:
    Problem Event Name: APPCRASH
    Application Name: Ditto.exe
    Application Version: 3.16.8.0
    Application Timestamp: 4a885655
    Fault Module Name: ole32.dll
    Fault Module Version: 6.1.7600.16385
    Fault Module Timestamp: 4a5bdac7
    Exception Code: c0000005
    Exception Offset: 0008deee
    OS Version: 6.1.7600.2.0.0.256.1
    Locale ID: 1033
    Additional Information 1: 1ec0
    Additional Information 2: 1ec0fd70d07d060e5bfcf53c69ad1739
    Additional Information 3: 2c48
    Additional Information 4: 2c48940de5e7d1cb2e131ad6a0ca2feb

I'll send the info to the developer.

I should have investigated further before thinking "Ditto" would work. The last version was just over two years ago.
    "Current Version: 3.15.4
    Version Date: 16 January, 2008
    License: Freeware/Open source
    Download File Size: 2MB
Operating Systems Supported: Tested on Windows XP, but should work on any recent edition
    Additional Software Required: None
64 Bit Capable: Unknown but most likely yes
    Portable Version Available: Yes"

Clipx has been working flawlessly for me.

I love this list, I installed several apps from it and my machine just feels so much better. I have two questions though.

Does anyone know of good, FREE (I have to stress this) CD Burning software that's 64-bit? If so, I might use that and get rid of Roxio on my machine. What about disk image emulation software like DAEMON Tools Lite, but in 64-bit?
