    iTunes won't uninstall!

Hey guys and girls, please help me out.

I tried downloading the new iTunes 10 onto my Acer laptop fitted out with Windows 7, but it wouldn't allow me to install it. Dejected, I tried to open the already installed iTunes 9, but an error message came up:

"Apple Application Support was not found.

Apple Application Support is required to run iTunes. Please uninstall iTunes, then install iTunes again.

    Error 2 (Windows error 2)"

So this annoyed me, but I went to Add/Remove Programs, and tried to uninstall said iTunes program.

A few seconds after clicking "Yes" to the question "Do you wish to uninstall iTunes?", another box with an annoying red X came up saying:

"The system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation". And then "You do not have sufficient acces to uninstall iTunes. Please contact your system administrator." I have only one profile on my laptop

I've tried to search for a solution to this on forums but nothing has worked. Someone recommended trying to uninstall other Apple programs such as Bonjour or Quicktime, but I was given the same message

    Please help me out.
