Adobe Reader and Flashplayers must remain because they are the flashplayer is needed for Youtube and online content and of course you open PDF's with the Adobe reader.

You might wanna need Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove some more unneeded things they may leave behind.

Although Flashplayer is needed to view video content online I uninstalle Adobe Reader years ago and replaced it with the ultra lightweight Foxit Reader and I have no problems reading PDF's.

Be careful using the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility. It was removed by MS because it can remove the saved installers in C:\windows\Installer (this is a hidden OS folder), making it difficult to uninstall certain programs. I have personally used WICU on XP, but not had need on Windows 7. It may well work fine, but best to suggest it as a last resort. A Guy

I only used it on programs that I know are gone, uninstalled. They are the just the remnants. Though it displays entries from programs that are still installed, I ignore those. I got no problems so far.

Dennis in 1st shot, delete Acrobat.com and Adobe Media Player. And delete Acrobat Reader if you install Foxit. Acrobat Reader currently has a vulnerability, they are expected to patch it within the next 1 to 2 weeks. But they are constantly having new vulnerabilities, and I dumped it many months ago for Sumatra PDF reader. More people prefer Foxit, but if you only occasionally open a pdf file, Sumatra will suit you.

In 2nd screen, you can safely delete all but the two MsXML entries. If C++ is ever needed by something you install, it would likely prompt for you to install it.
