    iTunes

Any iTunes users out there having troubles loading iTunes 10.0? When I first installed it, it worked fine. Then it froze. (Ever since I've got Windows 7, iTunes freezes all the time with me. Some program is making it freeze and I am too lazy to find out which one as it requires me to stop loading that program, reboot, then see if that one program caused it and if not, have to repeat the process.)

Anyways, it worked and then it froze so I went into task manager and closed it. When I tried to load it up again, it wouldn't load. It won't load anymore. I tried uninstalling and re-installing but it still doesn't work. I tried going back to a previous version but its says "Windows Error 2" and I have no idea what that means, so that won't load either.

    Any suggestions?

10 installed here. Does it freeze in Safe Mode? Does it freeze if it's the only program running? Check your audio drivers to make sure you have the latest, greatest. Video, too.

Where would I go about finding the audio and video drivers? Just the manufacturers website?

If it would load, I would tell you if it froze in safe mode.

I'm using iTunes 10 here Win7 (32bit), and aside from not liking the new UI for it, and thinking Ping is an over-hyped waste of space,.. I'm not having any trouble.

As for the drivers, if you know what you have you cant just grab them from the Manufacturers site, if not, you can find them listed in device manager. Windows maybe be able to update them automatically. If not, at least you'll know what you have and where to go to find drivers.

Also out of curiosity, since iTunes uses it heavily, do you have Quicktime installed? It should have installed with iTunes, but may have gotten messed up.

First thing I would do, after checking to update your drivers, is download a fresh copy of iTunes, uninstall your current one and reboot, then install the fresh one you just downloaded.
