    Help please

    Admittedly, I am not what anyone would call computer savy. So this has me completely baffled. My problem is that I'm trying to install an old game and for whatever reason I get some warning saying there's not enough free space in the location I'm trying to install to (program files). This laptop is only a few months old; it's got nothing but free space. I'm probably missing something very obvious. Wouldn't be surprised. Any help is much appreciated.

    Welcome to Seven Forums n0class. Perhaps your temp folders are full? Y ou can delete your temp files to see.

    Click Start> In search box type

    %temp%

    and press enter. Delete everything in the folder (you can left click and highlight all the files, then right click and delete). See if that helps. If not post specifics, which game, the exact error message. A Guy

    You should install it in program files (x86) if it is a 32-bit game
    Or use compatibility mode: Compatibility Mode

    Thanks for the suggestions. Still won't install properly.

    I'm trying to install the game to C drive but for some reason the installer says I only have 2047 MBs free space when I actually have 227 GBs free space. Anyone have an idea why this installer only chooses to recognize 2047 MBs as free.

    The game is baldurs gate if it matters.

    Is your only option to click "OK" or do you have an option to continue?

    Have a look here.
    INSTALL NOTES:
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    1. Load the ISO in your fav program, or burn them all.
    2. Install Baldurs gate, ignore the warning about not enough disk space, continue install anyways. Do not run the game yet.
    3. Install TOTSC expansion, again do not run the game yet.
    4. Install the included patches, first run BGTalesUS5512.exe first. Then run BGTalesDX8English.exe
