Amd Turion 64 on Windows 7

Hi, first of all im new on the SevenForums, and i'm sorry about my english, i'm from Portugal.
and i really don't know if im posting on the right Thread?
    If i ain't, sorry...
So first of all i have an AMD Turion 64 MT-32 Processor ( laptop - Asus A6km )
The problem is... i can't install the Software of my CPU...
i was trying to install with the right click, and properties, compatibility and " Run this program in compatibility for Windows XP ( Service Pack 3 )...
after do that the program opened... but it didn't install the drivers for the CPU

    Error : Imageshack - 93346539.png

i want to install the program because without the program the CPU Usage goes to 100% and the laptop just turn off...
and with the program that doesn't happen...
Like i was saying... sorry about my english..
(I know the program is AMD Athlon 64, and mine is AMD Turion... but still it works for me.. )

From reading posts at various forums....

It looks like you will need this : Technical Download Details

As far as the processor driver....there "appears" to be no driver for any OS after Windows XP available to you...hopefully further research can bring more desired results

XP virtual mode is only a virtual machine....any drivers installed in it won't affect your Windows 7 installation

i was reading... and it isn't just a virtual mode... it's to install programs that u can't install on windows 7 because of the compatibility... i think it's called XPM..
so if you install the programs there u will be able to run them from the desktop, pretty cool huh?
    but i'm not sure yet..

    "
    Why do you want it?

It will allow you to run apps that are only compatible with XP in Windows 7. It’s also different from previous virtualization technologies by Microsoft, in which you can now run a virtual app in the same desktop as your host OS without having to deal with two separate desktops. Still confused? We have screenshots and video to demonstrate. "

I am glad you managed to resolve it!

I am still troubled by the fact that your CPU keeps overheating and dying....I think this needs further inspection...
