Desktop and Start menu icons not working

    I can open command prompt, but am unable to type anything in. Cursor just flashes. Keyboard is working, as I am typing this. Lol.



    E-rebuild has no effect.


    Scannow result. Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.log.


    Netuser (in elevated command prompt). ‘netuser’ is not recognised as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.


    Icon cache rebuild – no effect

    I told you the wrong syntax....

    its net user I forgot a space :P

    Command prompt not working. I type in the window but nothing appears.... There is only a flashing cursor. No path or anything.

    Please be patient. I am on the forums about 16 hours a day. Do you have your system disks close by?
