    MS Office/CA Bundle

My interest in Office is somewhat subdued, because I do not use these kind of apps often, and can get by with Open Office...or whatever it is called now. But, I have been thinking about trying a different Security Suite, because of some quirks of Outpost Security Suite that I would like to eliminate.

However, I know very little about CA, other than recognizing the name. Rather than simply saying yes, it's good, or no, it's bad, I'm hoping that someone has used both security suites and can compare them?

The only reason that I'm considering this is because it looks like an affordable option.

This is a review from one user at Amazon

I am a network administrator. I have a new machine with Norton pre-installed, which I uninstalled using the Norton removal tool. I was unable to get CA to work with my machine and called for tech support. After three hours, the technician told me it was fixed but it was not. I was able to browse the internet, but unable to update the CA product. I called back for more tech support and was told that there would be a fee of $169 to "fix" it. Not in this lifetime. This is a brand new computer, with brand new software, operated by a knowledgeable "end-user" and the method of selling service is unconscionable. I have been using CA products for my professional environment and have been extremely pleased. This new method of "delivery" is absurd and not in the great tradition of the company.

Try it with Windows 7. Maybe you'll have better luck. If your experience is similar to mine, I'd like to hear about it.
