Problems with Rocket Dock in Windows 7!

    Hey Guys!!!

Please help I'm facing a serious problem with my Rocket Dock. I'm running WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM. All the program run absolutely correctly from their shortcut icons on desktop. But the problem arises as I drag the icon to rocket dock. Whenever I click an icon of program, the program is blocked from starting up and a window pops up saying:

    "Windows Security"

"Your Internet security settings prevented one or more files from opening."

    What to do please help?

Furthermore, I should mention that I've restored or reset my internet explorer settings to default from Internet Options but no success.

I had to switch from Rocket Dock to Object Dock (free version) because I was having issues.

Welcome to Seven Forums 9786. This sounds like it could be a UAC problem. You can try turning UAC off to see if the error goes away. Or, have a look at this site and see if this works for you:

    These files can't be opened

Thanks Mr A Guy. I've already tried above mentioned link few days back but it didn't helped me out.

By the way what is UAC???

If it means User Accounts, so I just have administrator account. No other accounts are there...

UAC = User Account Control. Take a look here:

User Account Control - UAC - Change Notification Settings

Turn it off to test. If that works, try an elevated setting to see which still works, if any. A Guy

I have used Rocketdock , it works nice Flawlessly . The problem might be with your internet security settings (Norton or Kaspersky probably ?) . It is probably set to high enough that it blocks those apps to be launched from the dock .

However , I support Boohbah !! ObjectDock is easier to use than Rocket Dock . You can easily use the Odjectdock freeware . But at first if the internet securitu settings is really set to unnecessarily high , adjust it properly .
