    utorrent crash

    Hi everyone,
first of all please sorry for my poor english.
My problem is this: every time i start utorrent (2.2) my computer crash after 2 or 3 minutes and i have to switch off the power connection.
I had the same problem with other torrent software (bittorrent and vuze), now i'm using Halite and it works fine. firefox too seems to have problems (not responding but it only freezes and after some time it keeps on working).
I read on the internet that the problem maybe caused by nvidia networking adapter integrated on motherboard but i tried also a PCI network adapter (realtek RTL8139) but i had the same issues

I use the drivers that windows automatically search and update:

    driver version: 73.3.5.0
    driver date: 12/08/2010
digital signature:Microsoft Windows Hardware Compatibility Publisher

I also have a laptop (Acer) with Win7 Home x64 and I have no problems (the laptob network adapter is from Atheros)

    please help me

    Tommaso Hi and welcome.

Torrent clients are good ways to get infected. I would run a virus check to find out if you are.

If all the torrent clients are crashing but nothing else is I suspect that the Java install is corrupt. You should re-install it.

If that doesn't fix it could you give us all of your system specs and network setup so we know what hardware you have.

    Thanks
