Spell Check Not Working in WL 2011

I am unable to get spell check to work in WLM 2011. Have tried all fixes I've found in this forum with no luck. Am new to Windows 7 but not with a computer. Am at wits end.

    And they were?

    Have you un-installed and re-installed?

Hi elaxton and welcome to Seven Forums. I just wanted to throw this in because I thought the same thing the first time I used spell check in WLM 2011. With all due respect, are you positive it's not working. When spell check detects a misspelling it now just puts a very tiny red line under the word. I had one heck of a time when I first used it, I sat there and thought, what's going on here why isn't it working. If you feel insulted I apologize.

Zigzag thanks so much for your answer, was hesitant to uninstall and reinstall until I could find out if I would lose the WLM foloders and files, will definitely follow your suggestion if the next answer doesn't work. Much appreciated!
