I used to use Ixquick, but the results it gave were not as complete as Google's. Now with Scroogle Scraper I get Google's detailed results without having my browser information shared with every entity on the results list...

The search information that you want with the personal privacy you value.

Interesting link, Maxxwire! Unfortunately it doesn't seem to support image searches yet. Still, it sounds useful, thanks for the heads up.

Ixquick is great if you are looking for something that is likely to pop up starightaway.

A special point for Ixquick is privacy - the only search engine that keeps no record of you at all - ever.

Using Ixquick helps show support for privacy.

It is under threat from those who want to spy on us .

What kind of image searches are you referring to? I use the Scroogle Scraper to Google Image searches almost every day...
