Windows dvd maker problem

    I've had the exact same issue in previous build of 7, where the video was converting @ 4:3 but showing black lines and the sides (no manner of tv perspective shift will conquer this). I'll run some tests on build 7229 & post the results, but it might take some time

    No its not. The DVD makes is a separate program. As you can see by the Link I provided.

    thats just some addon for movie maker and movie maker(not sure what though) but you cant download movie maker as a
    program atleast not to my knowledge anyway

    is it freeware cos everytime im told theres freeware versions i can never find it..its always like 40 odd quid fooook that

    Oh you are right, that is for developing your own stuff. My mistake for not reading it >.<

    Anyways, since it is bundled with Seven just try a repair install of the OS. Nothing will be lost, and it will (hopefully) fix this.

    well that was a waste of time i thought installing windows 7 7229 would sort the problem out ,but it didnt, using dvd flick and dvd coming out fine the only thing im missing is those pretty menus but atleast its alot faster than the snail trail what dvd maker leaves behind ... sorry im just being bitter now

    I don't know why it doesn't work......
    Did you try a repair install?
