    Windows dvd maker problem

Everything works fine when burning etc, But no matter what setting i set it too (ie. 4;3 or 16.9) the dvd comes out as a very narrow video with large black borders on either side .Ive burnt mutiple dvds and had the same problem each time.

never had this problem with dvd maker for vista ,is this a commen problem with windows 7? or am i missing something

    help much appreciated..

Hello Gilly, welcome to the Forums!

That built in DVD maker is a great feature, no? When it works, that is.

Does this come out narrow with black borders on the top and bottom, or on the sides?

You could also try re-installing the DVD maker, or look at the settings in the burning section.

The movie maker is the movie maker. The DVD maker is what you were using before, but I think that is the vista version (though they may be the same).
It will work fine for editing.

I'm having problems getting the DVD maker to burn a disk, after converting 99% of an avi file the maker says
