Please complete your system specs in User CP and if possible provide more information as to what exactly happens and when and any error messages you receive.

A lot of members are running CS4 on Windows7 so hopefully with more information a fix can be found :)

Welcome to SF. As barman58 sugessted please fill in your "ms system specs" in control panel. Also what does completely proved mean. Are you thinking the checking system profile is a problem. Could be insufficient ram, could be a problem with PS paging file

    Waiting on alot more info

Though it probably won't help you much, I downloaded PS CS4 trial and loaded it on my machine (mine's a bit more than yours, but not much), running clean install of 7229 x64 and had no issues.

I don't see any hardware issues that would prevent CS4 from istalling - but I'm not the expert I would like to be (I guess that applies to most :) )

One has to ask, is your copy of CS4 "legal" or other-wise. If other, that might have something to do with your problems. If it's a legal download, is there any chance you got a corrupted download?

Is your 7100 a clean install or an upgrade from Vista? Install x64 or x86 version? Shouldn't be a player, but might be significant.

These are just a few quick ideas that occurred to me. HTH

Really I doubt that a pirated copy of cs4 would behave any differently to a legit copy. Sure it might have some malware attached but even that is pretty unusual - the crack or whatever might create problems - but that seems not to be the issue here.

raw3a -> please give us more details about what is the problem and how it occurred - step by step.

Many people - I for one, have PS CS4 running on 7100 perfectly, installed first time, everything works, use it everyday so there's likely to be a solution to your problem.

True, but I like to cover all the bases I can think of and that's one that came to mind.

    The problem step by step

I have to open the file Setup.exe

Opens the window and disappear in less than a sec

Is the problem in copy CS4

    Is there a solution ?
