Either way should work but which ever way works best for you is the best to do.

Plus an external hard drive is a good investment for future back up and storage.

Hi, problem is resolved by using system restore. however on programs and features Winrar is not present but it is still there in the local disk???

Is there anyway i can remove it

Please make a Snip of local disk that you are seeing and post it here. I'm not sure on what you are saying. A picture would be beneficial to me.

Okay.
In the left picture I would right click and delete the Winrar folder. Then empty the Recycle Bin.

That should get rid of it.

You can also use a restore point before you installed Winrar. Select a date before the install.

That would remove all traces of it.
