    reading memory brand and speed

So I am looking for free software to find out what type of ram I have and what speed it runs, I once had a program that did that but I just can't remember the name, so can somebody suggest a few.

You can do it with Everest free edition.

Or you could head over to the Crucial website and let it scan your memory.
