    So many Visual C++ Redist can I unistall some?


    Hi, in my uninstall programs, I have so many versions of Visual C++ Redistributables from installing so many games and programs. Do I need all the different versions for the respective programs or can I just use the latest one?

    I'm assuming those games/programs need the redistributable for a reason. I personally wouldn't touch it

    Agreed, each one represents some Visual C program that has been installed. Uninstalling one would uninstall the associated app.

C++ 2009 runtime redist won't install

I still can't install the 2009 C++ runtime SP1. Its MSI fails with a 1935/80070003 error. I am trying to install direct x redist however at the end of the installation, the program terminates with an error which says A cabinet file required for installation is not to be trusted. Please verify that that the Cryptographic Services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is valid....
